Adult and Child
4 months to 3.5 years
Babies from age 4 months up to 2.5 years for adult and child lessons focus on water confidence.
Lessons for 3 years onwards focus on getting the child swimming independently with the comfort of having their adult next to them.
All classes are held at Bishops Stortford College.
The lessons last for half an hour with a maximum of 10 per class.
Preschool
3.5 years +
The lessons last 30 mins, with a maximum of 5 children in a class per teacher.
Rising 5's
after school 5 years +
The lessons last 30 mins. Classes have up to 8 children in a class per teacher with a pool helper in the water for stages 1 to 3.
We follow the Swim England Learn to Swim national teaching plan from stages 1 to 7.
